Events and Activities in Edinburgh
All of the events below are open to all international
students. They are organised by Christians from local churches in
association with Friends International and are for students of any
faith or none. Our aim is to organise a range of activities that
will provide international students with opportunities to make friends
with local people.
Wee World Café
The café is a place where international students can meet
local people and other students. Students come to relax, chat and
practise their English. It takes place every Monday from 8-10pm.
The café is held in Carrubbers' Christian Centre Cafe at
65 High Street (opposite the Museum of Childhood on the Royal Mile,
near the two red telephone boxes). Contact wwc.ed@friendsinternational.org.uk

Café Mondial
A place to meet people and relax on Monday evenings from 7.30
to 10pm. The café is run by Christian students from Edinburgh
and Napier Universities Christian Unions for international students
of any faith or none. It takes place at the Apostolic Church (side
door) on West Richmond Street, around the corner from Tesco Metro

Introduction to Christianity Courses
There are opportunities for international students to discover
more about Jesus Christ, the Bible and the Christian faith. To do
this we recommend taking a short course. Courses for beginners are
starting all the time and are available for individuals or groups.
