Cafés for international students
International Café
A social event where students can make friends with local
people, learn about British culture (and other cultures!),
make friends, play games, practice English and have fun. This
takes place every two weeks during term time on Mondays
at Belmont Chapel, Western Way, 7.30pm-9.30pm.

The Globe Café
The Globe Café is run by students from the ECU and
meets every Thursday, 7.30-9.30pm downstairs
in Cornwall House, Pippa Langstrom room on Exeter university
campus. It's a great way to meet British students, practice
your English and have fun! WE run different events each week,
from live music and quiz nights to beach trips and barbecues,
and we normally have a short talk with an optional Bible study
at the end of each event for those interested in finding out
more about Christianity.

All questions and viewpoints are welcome
at this friendly informal discussion group which meets during
term time: Wednesday 7.30-9.00pm at Belmont Chapel, Western

Global Gathering for international
women
This group for wives and children meets every Thursday morning
at 10am - 12 noon in a local home. This includes social activities
such as crafts, talks on culture and cookery. Young children

looking at what the Bible claims about Jesus. From 1.30 -

Open House for International Men
A place of welcome for international men visiting or studying
in Exeter. Receive a warm welcome in a family home. This is
a chance to relax, share conversation and friendship, and
to meet other international visitors to Exeter. This group
meets on alternate Thursday evenings 8pm – 10pm. Contact

Exeter Christian Union
Exeter University ECU meets in Parker Moot room, Amory building
on Exeter University Campus every Tuesday 7.30 - 9.00pm. At
