The Team

Adam Kinnison is the Friends International worker for Bath. He is the international student worker at Widcombe Baptist Church, and he has been involved with international student work in Bath as a volunteer for a number of years whilst doing a PhD in statistics.

 

Activities in Bath

 

Café International
This takes place Tuesdays 7.30-10.30pm at Widcombe Baptist Church, Pulteney Road. A warm, friendly environment to meet other internationals and British people, to explore one another’s cultures and to practise English! Events include: Chinese New Year, Scottish ceilidh, St George's Day evening, Easter and Christmas Meals and much more. Visit the Cafe International website or email Adam for more details.

 

Globe Café
The Globe Café meets every Wednesday lunchtime from 12:45 till 14:00 in the Chaplaincy of the University of Bath. Bible studies
If you are interested in finding out about the Christian faith and would like to explore further, then we will be offering Bible studies to help answer those important questions you may have about Christianity. Email Adam for details.

Host Family Scheme
There is an active hospitality scheme, linking international students with British families. Contact Adam for details.

 

Chinese and Overseas Christian Fellowship
Cantonese (Saturday afternoons), Mandarin (Sat 7.30pm) in the Chaplaincy Centre at the University of Bath. We meet for Bible studies and fellowship for students interested in Christianity. The Bible studies are are in Cantonese or Mandarin, with a time of songs and prayer. See our website for more details.
