University
Global Café
This is an opportunity to have fun, make friends, practise
English, learn about British and other cultures. It takes
place every Friday of term 8-10pm at the Mary Morris International
Residence in Headingley. For map and details please go to

Activities at the University of Leeds
The Living Room
Meet friendly UK students, have fun, practise your English -
this is what the Living Room cafe is all about. From 8.15pm
- 10.00pm in the Lounge in the Student Union Building. The café
is a free cafe open to any international student from any country
or religion. For more information email international@luucu.com
International Student Club
This meets every Wednesday evening from 6-8pm at the University
Chaplaincy. The club is run by local Christians in Leeds but
students of any faith or none are welcome. Each week there
is a different programme and the opportunity afterwards for
international students to study the Bible. For more details

An Introduction to Jesus and
the Bible - for international students
This is an informal, relaxed Bible discussion group explaining
the basics about Jesus and the Bible. It is especially for
international students who are not Christians but would like
to find out about the Christian faith. There will be a group
before the Global café at the café venue on
Monday 29th September at 7.00pm. However if you are interested
but can’t make this then please email Phil.
It is for all international students of any religion or background
who would like to find out more about the Christian faith.
